Rictus presents a gleaming 65 minute seamless brick wall of intention and dedication. Leprotic Mass articulates the present situations of the world through fictional characters in their own universe, acting on the impulses that the common men and women of the world share but never act on themselves.
Through a 3 year production process of self awareness and pure intention, conceptualists and creators Matt Wees and Andy Meyer take on composition and arrangement of this articulation through Rictus, with drummer Kieran Eckberg backing them up through increasingly technical performances and rhythmic support.
While most bands speak on the difficulties of their process of production, it can be said to the same extent that Rictus experienced every type of failure that could be imagined during this multi-year collaboration. Rather than this, the band is looking beyond, and hopes that whomever listens to Leprotic Mass will hear something new each time and find new connections, and above all else, have every listener create their own experience with the 65 minutes, just as the band did while making it all possible.
Leprotic Mass is released on the label owned by Matt Wees and Andy Meyer, Pale Noise, and will be available on Bandcamp as well as Spotify, iTunes, and all other places you can find music.
Funds from support of this album will be set aside towards creating new merchandise lines including CD's, prints, and clothing. Updates on this can be found on our Facebook and Instagram page.

Passons sur la seconde moitié de cet opus qui, pour moi, n'est pas très représentative, et écoutons, puis envisageons et enfin reconnaissons qu'il s'agit là d'un excellent death technique comme seuls les bons groupes savent le faire. Au niveau technique, c'est moins l'abus que, par exemple, First fragment, et niveau ambiances orientales, idem si l'on compare à Nile ou Melechesh. Bref, comme disait mon père en 81 : le meilleur reste à venir.
